The old and the new

A trip to town for B to collect his new hearing aids, must be working as the ‘pardon’ rate is falling rapidly. :0)))

In the afternoon it was U3A craft group. We have a new lady join us who is in her 90’s and is living alone, as her husband died a few months ago. She brought with her today this new teddy, made by her daughter from her husbands old clothes.

He is providing so much comfort at this difficult time and is helping her engage with the ladies in the group and make new friends. Teddy is a new creation but brings memories with his recycled clothes. A lovely idea.
