Snap

Work in the morning and then we spent the hottest day of the year on the A1, driving to Northumberland for the weekend. Luckily there was plenty of nice weather left when we arrived for us to sit outside, eat some noodles and catch up with our friends down from Edinburgh... C had found us a really nice cottage to stay in and - despite the obvious attractions of the Land Rover graveyard for some of the party - it also has a beautiful, birdsong-filled garden too...
