Symphony in the Park

The Eugene Symphony offers a free concert once a year at Cuthbert Amphitheater in Alton Baker Park. 
It is a family-centered concert that fills the amphitheater with a very appreciative audience. 
Before the orchestra came onstage the marvelous KUTSiNiHiRA marimba band played Zimbabwe music for an hour. 
We then were treated to 2 1/2 hours of a variety of popular and classic music spectacularly performed by the Eugene Orchestra.
A most pleasant summer evening event, to say the least.
