Friday in Wells

Another hot day. I'm not a fan of the heat. Over to Wells next the Sea when family came back from the last day of their term. Parked up and got fish and chips and sat on the harbour wall and watched the boats and people come and go for an hour. Very pleasant. By the time we finished there were massive queues in both chippies, particularly French's. Up to the Maltings where we saw 'Made in England'. This is a documentary about the films of Powell and Pressburger, which include several of my favourite films. Narrated by Martin Scorsese, who was very much influenced by Powell, and had him as a mentor in his later life. Lovely to see clips from films but it just made you want to watch the whole film again. Home late.
