You win some, you lose some

Perhaps predictably the judge didn't appreciate my old fashioned sweet pea varieties (Cupani and Painted Lady) preferring the more showy - but less fragrant - modern frilly things. So we didn't win the sweet pea cup. But then again we won prizes for gooseberries, blackcurrants, red currants, white currants, loganberries, tayberries, strawberries and raspberries ..... so came away with the soft fruit cup.

Thanks for all the comments yesterday. I was going to stop at 730 but maybe I'll press on to 1,000.
