Orchid Flowers

I completed all of the u3a and other paperwork that I need to do during the morning; I also remembered to book the car in for its annual service and MOT.
 
I spent some time tidying up some of my houseplants including sorting out the “Flaming Katies”, which were getting very straggly.
 
Today’s picture is of one of two orchids that I have that are the same. Strangely they do not both flower at the same time.
 
The temperature at noon today the temperature was twenty-one degrees Celsius. It felt much colder during the morning and I changed from shorts to long trousers; then the sun came out!
