Another Sunday guiding at Craigtoun Park, with a steady stream of visitors from all parts. The day went quite quickly and guides and visitors enjoyed many interesting conversations.
The ‘comments’ in the Visitor Book were very complimentary which is gratifying.
The appeal of Scotland and the Scots comes as a surprise to several visitors who are visiting Scotland for the first time, often from the country sharing our only land border.
It is our pleasure to create the surprise! Today’s entry shows the head of a lamp standard shaft carved from a single piece of wood. It is about 120 cms long.
