Lunar Landing!

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac the Buck Moon is so named because it is the time of year when male deer fully grow their antlers.  This year is especially important as it signifies the first landing of humans on the Moon in 1969 on July 20  -  so here we are celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing without a sign of the Full Moon!  It was at Meridian at 1.45 am so I stayed up to see it!  Ha! Ha! I should be so lucky  -  it was hidden away behind an overcast sky.  So what you get here is the sky straight out of the camera with my Moon Wall Lamp and Me pasted on☻☻ -  my way of celebrating that special day!
