A-ha!

I thought these were butterfly eggs but now the faces have appeared, I'm fairly sure yesterday's green shieldbug instar may have started its journey here!

I did then see a butterfly laying eggs on the nasturtiums so maybe we'll have some youngsters. Unless the wasp catches them - which I also watched on the knapweed which is was housing lots of moth caterpillars.
