The Basin Researve

Often voted as one of the worlds best cricket grounds by players and fans it has a rich history and a number of us on todays Monday walk took a short cut through the grounds on the way home.
The weather ended up great and we were joined today by some of our friends from our Apartment building on what was a shorter walk because of weather doubts but apart from a little rain getting to the bus it was totally fine.
And before you ask the answer is no... We have not attended an event here although it is walking distance away.

There is a consensus of expert opinion that the game was invented during Saxon or Norman times by children living in the Weald in south-east England.
