Hope

today, I took my mom to the lotus festival at the national aquatic gardens.  It was packed with people and a bit hot but the flowers were just so beautiful!

Then on return, I found out Biden dropped out of the presidential race. I was first shocked but am now feeling more hopeful than I've been in a while, esp with the possible nomination of Kamala Harris.  If that came true, I couldn't wait for the debate between her (a former prosecutor) and Trump (a current felon)!  Fingers crossed :)
