Red Squirrel

Today was a mostly sunny day, I got out for a walk in the morning to feed the birds and squirrels I had lots of takers when it came to peanuts, including several red wing blackbirds. I did spot this little red squirrel heading up a tree. At first I thought he had a bug of some sort but once I got the image bigger it looks like some paper plus twigs to help in nest building. He was not interested in peanuts however.
