Lovely days at Crowe's

Perhaps not for everyone. 
I caught the last minutes of the epic hurling all-Ireland final between Cork and Clare. Cliff-hanger stuff it was. 

I was very much sitting on the fence for that one. 

Congratulations to my Clare friends who today are nothing short of ecstatic. 

Commiserations to my Cork friends. So close. So close. Yet so far. 
In the words of my Mayo friends and family, "there is always next year". 

Although I now realise that sharing words of wisdom from Mayo fans may be very cold comfort indeed.
