RIP Georgie 2008-2024

I had to take my dad to the vet’s with Georgie today. He was the best boy. He wandered up to the house as a stray kitten, my dad took him inside and he never left. Except for the times when I locked him between the door and the screen or in the lazy Susan because I hadn’t seen him sneak in.
George liked to be vacuumed and was very vocal about his preference for the 1960’s model vs. the newer, more suctioney vacuum.
George was the only cat who let me put hats or costumes on him - I’m not sure he enjoyed it, but I always made sure to vacuum him afterwards to make it up to him. My mom used to say he was an old shoe because I got away with so much.
He will be missed and not forgotten.
