Isn't she a beauty?

She's currently dressing up in my clothes whilst we all hide inside away from the oppressive heat of the heatwave.

We did venture out to the park where we encountered some kind of carnival. A carnival that Chris concluded must take place every year yet somehow has escaped our attention for 4 years! We had a little look around and a quick play in the park but it was all just a bit too much and we were overheating. So we walked back past the mini tesco and picked up some ice creams and ate them on our way home.

Isaac has been a bit grumpy today, possibly to do with the disrupted evening and consequently late bedtime last night. Maybe something to do with the chilli I ate yesterday too. And possibly the heat. Oh and teething. So yes, not an entirely happy boy today which is so unlike him I wasn't really sure what to do with him! Extra feeds and a big sleep in the mei tai and he's a bit cheerier this afternoon. Babywearing in this weather is no fun but needs must!!

My wrists are now stuck to the keyboard (unpleasant) so I'm off to dig out the fan.
