No horses in sight, but in the shadows of the famous Newmarket grandstands some 60 members of the horse racing community rode for 24 hours in aid of their charity, Racing Welfare.

I was one of the mechanics and this shot was early in my night shift. Earlier golden skies turned grey, but fortunately everyone stayed dry.
