A run out on the 500X today.Up through Rivington and on to Belmont.An excellent breakfast in Lotties followed by a very interesting visit to Turton Tower.
With the appalling state of our roads the little adventure style bike is ideal and very comfortable due to the long travel suspension.

Well we have had a couple of weeks of the new Labour government and although it is very early days they seem to be on course to be as bad as the last dregs we had.Dumped our own oil industry, implemented VAT on private education making it more elitist in one go and promised to build 800 houses a day for the next 5 years effectively saying bollocks to the greenbelt.Still Starmer must have a sense of humour appointing Lammy as Foreign Secretary.With the possibility of Trump as  president the next five years look worrying.SNAFU.
