Retirement

These tractors might once have worked on the marsh but they don't look like they'll be going anywhere soon.

In our retirement we're making time to go on village trips, like this one our Social Club made to Lytham, which in itself seems like a retirement venue.

We'd never been before and found the town very nice but our intention had been to visit the RSPB reserve at Fairhaven and walk along the beach with our long lenses. Well, after a visit to the windmill, we set off along the promenade but the tide was out so no waders to see. It turned out that the reserve was too far to walk and we didn't want to risk a bus-ride incase we were late back to our coach.

All in all, a nice day out and it didn't rain very much!
