Mrs Red Wattle

Ended up having a lovely time with Julian, lots of laughs and possibly too many treats ; )
Dropped him home before lunch today and then headed up to Kings Park for a good walk to mitigate the treats a bit ; ).  
This red wattle bird was so intent on sipping the nectar that she didn’t seem to notice me for ages and I was pretty close to her!!  
I just kept taking shots until eventually she seemed to get a shock as she suddenly noticed me and off she went in a huff! : )
