Heavy rain forecast p.m. So while dry, walked to the Pier, and through the Lower Gardens. Was very 'steamy' in places. Passed these 6 ladies, wearing the same attractive gowns. Wonder if there is a story there?

Took a bus to Westbourne and had an Aspall at 'The Westbourne' and a coffee and vanilla bean pastry at 'Marawi'.

Started to drizzle, so bus home. Pouring later.
