What a gentle way to spend a couple of Saturday hours.
Sitting at a checked clothed table under a leafless apple tree beside a little brook, the sky was as that lovely duck egg winter blue and the sun warm enough for lunch alfresco.
Out with Mum in the valley and a bottle of the vineyard's 'pink' made it feel all the more summery.

After a week of lunching out and dinners, it's salads and soups before heading up north. Otherwise there will be excess luggage charges ...me!!
