View from Madrisa

For today's hike we decided to get the gondola to the top of Madrisa Mountain and hike back down to the village. It was sunny and warm but there were clouds about so of course today we did not forget our rain jackets! However we did not need them, it has been sunny and warm all day. 

There are good views of the village below and across down the Prattigau Valley. Once down the mountain we decided to stop at Schlappin where we were going to eat lunch, but then decided to press on ahead to the bottom where our car was waiting. It was so steep walking back down that at times my legs had a wobble! 

In extras is a photo I took with the self timer by balancing my camera on my backpack. Thankfully Xena stood there and did not wander off out of the picture. You may notice my AirPods in my ears, I was listening to my book when walking down the steep bits. 

Last night we watched the movie The Beautiful Game on Netflix, with the wonderful Bill Nighy - it's a touching movie about the Homeless World Cup, and I really enjoyed it.
