Looking for shade......

.....another scorcher, it's even too hot for the cats.....

Off out at lunchtime for a day-late-birthday-meal for the firstborn who was 35 yesterday, we're going to North Shields fish quay with fingers crossed because we haven't booked anywhere, we're not known for advanced planning.....luckily(?) it's the Mouth of the Tyne festival at Tynemouth AND Cullercoats Harbour Day today so we're banking on the seething dining throngs being elsewhere......
