I was very tempted by this little plant…

… but the specs on the pot really grabbed me.
Now I’m back home I wish I’d bought it because I used to have a similar plant and it took over an enormous window in my office at the Income Tax Office. Perfect for hiding behind if disgruntled tax payers gave me the evil eye through the window.
I wonder whether it will still be there tomorrow? And if it is and I buy it will it thrive like the last one? I always seemed to spend more time caring for house plants in the office when I was supposed to be working than now I’m retired with all the time in the world. And for any locals reading this despite time spent rearing monster plants we still kept the island’s tax affairs up to date back then!
