One hour of fame

The One and Other project by Antony Gormley began today and I thought I would take a peek at who was on the plinth at lunchtime. I found a very chilled-out pirate posing on the plinth. I've put my name down for some plinth action, but I haven't been picked yet - I may make an hour in September yet!

Today was a nasty one at work, not for me, but for my work colleagues. The big 'R' word is hitting the company and I hope everything will work out well for everyone. Having recently experienced the confusion, anxiety and conflict redundancy brings, both to me and the colleagues I used to work with, I know this period is not going to be easy. I will be making a lot of tea and will be armed with emergency Percy Pigs.
