Flower Friday at a Funeral

Lisa and I volunteered to work the kitchen today for one of the cornerstones of our church.

Phil was a local businessman (real estate), and Lisa's mother worked for him. When our church decided to build a new church, he was the driving force behind the plan and the build.

He could be loud, overbearing, and obstinate at times, but he truly was a hard worker, an intelligent man, and EXTREMELY dedicated to both his family and his church.

I was proud to call him my friend.
