Nova Multifest

On the Dartmouth waterfront this evening, and continuing all weekend is the Nova Multifest. Lots of entertainment, music and dancers. This one was a Filipine dance. I also watched some belly dancers and Highland dancers.

The Gay Pride festival and parade is in Halifax tomorrow. I am going to the valley tomorrow, not going near Halifax this weekend. The parking lot for the Dartmouth ferry is closed due to the Multifest happening. The MacKay bridge is closed for repairs, leaving only one bridge open. Or you can go the long way around thru Bedford. The Woodside ferry doesn't run on the weekends. Travelling between Halifax and Dartmouth this weekend will be time consuming.

Work went well today despite missing 2 workers. A's car broke down on the way to work, he had to get it towed home. Br was sick. I had planned to take 2 workers with me and leave the rest to spread some mulch at another property. Since A wasn't there, I left Steph in charge for the firs time. She did well, I know that she is capable of handling things.

My cousin is having her annual open garden this weekend, so I will stop there on my way to the valley tomorrow. I have my list of plants that I need to buy ready to take with me, just have to remember to take it in the morning.
