Holtz on the Harpsichord
More music - don't think I've ever heard a harpsichord before, very melodious.
Before that, outdoor cinema in the square - "A Tempestade", filmed in Monsaraz twelve years ago - with some folk we recognised, and Gunilla and Bengt's house a couple of times. Quite a tragic tale, though, echoes of Romeo and Juliet, rather than "The Tempest". In extra, the cobbled street on and off the screen.
And before that, the talk today was by two architects, concerned at the utterly dissonant buildings being authorised in the Alentejo lately.
Gratefuls:
- our anniversary, 38 years today, glad we are still best friends (couldn't work out if we've had enough celebration this week already); couple of wedding photos here, if interested
- getting an Update written
- temperatures going down a bit tomorrow; was unbearable today, with the heat radiating off the schist walls and streets
Not so good is little Eden still very poorly...
