Landing

Friday 19th July 2024
The day started with the Yr6 Leavers Assembly in school. I was just home when SueT123 arrived. We went to Orrell Water Park and spent some time with the birds on the feeders, although I didn't do particularly well. We walked all around the reserve and the lakes and enjoyed our picnic lunch. We then went to the Beacon Country Park for another walk. On the way home we stopped to watch a kestrel and a buzzard, although they were a bit too far away for any good shots - see extra. Not as much photography as normal but a great time catching up. 

This evening I attended the Band Summer Pops concert. A bit of "last night of the proms" always goes down well at the end.
