Scottish Tan?

I was waiting for the BBQ to do its thing and my mind drifted. A curious thing about being a daily cyclist is how quickly, even in the worst summer in a decade, your exposed bits weather. An assistant in a shop in Kelso remarked on my ‘Scottish Tan’ as I ventured into her store in my shorts, a less than complimentary comment to make to a potential customer. I didn’t try to defend my weathering, but I use factor 50 before every ride after May. Cheeky so and so.
