Cheers, enjoy your weekend

We are exhausted and enjoying a quick G and T before going out this evening. Who would think picking gooseberries would create this much pain - thorns and back ache.  A good load picked, we are away for 10 days and doubt the fruit will remain on the bushes, blackbirds usually enjoy  blackcurrants and gooseberries. I wonder if they screw up their head in the way I am when thinking of eating either raw or without sugar.
