I really am obsessed with this tree

The Flame Tree, which has become The Meat Tree, but hasn't really, if that makes any sense, is a balm for the spirit on those dull, cold mornings that herald the onset of November. Even in it's annual death, it is majestic. Some days, it is the only thing that encourages me to open the bedroom curtains.
