Broken branch

The firetruck in yesterday's photo was blocking the road where a large branch fell during a storm. I thought a medical emergency had happened, so I didn't get closer to check out what was going on.

I walked up the street today to check out the branch. It had been cut up and removed, but the tree shows the scar.
