Bye byes

This morning, we had a Together Altogether at church. My very last one and also weirdly, my last time in the church building. I used to be there 4/5 times a week so it’s quite significant.

As I’ve been there the longest, over 25 years, I was pulled up the front for a little interview, with a recap of what’s changed; what hasn’t. It was lovely to do but I did babble. :-/

Other ladies were also leaving and it was a touch tearful.

This afternoon, I hosted a tea party for one of the others who is leaving. This lovely American lady is moving abroad and her changes ahead are huge. Lovely lady has always had a thing about English tea so that’s what we did. It was very very special.

We all thank God for the joy of the friendships He blesses us with.

Funnily, it also meant I got out a bone china tea set that my Godmother gave me. I have never ever used it and will probably now need to think what I do with it next. :-)

NoaNoa is now home ‘for good’. His church apprenticeship has ended. He’s home until his university term starts in September. Uni Accommodation had to be sorted tonight. x
