Sad

Saw this poignant display out side Livingston Civic Centre.
Been on jury duty all week.Called in and turned up on Tuesday morning, was designated as substitute juror #1. All the 15 nominated jurors turned up and sworn in so I was planning an early return home and a free day off work.  Alas juror #13 stepped down and I was asked to replace.
A fascinating experience, glad I did it. Have to say the "not proven" option available in Scotland is a major cop out/easy option allowing jurors to sit on the fence. I opted to only use the guilty and not guilty options. Go me!
