Along the boardwalk

Dennis's foot was a lot better, so straight after breakfast we did the walk from the hotel all the way along the boardwalk to the wetland area. We did the loop that took us back to the town as it was starting to get quite hot. It passed by lagoons and wetlands and we saw birds, butterflies, shoals of fish, and some crabs scuttling in the sandy water.
We stopped for a drink in Alvor beside the river, then had a last wander through the town. Spent the afternoon at the pool. A drink at the beach bar later, then packing ready for leaving in the morning.
