3 punctures!

A busy day again, time to move closer to the people I know and love. It’s lovely where I have been but a 60 mile round trip for appointments is not ideal.
A couple of important people to see before leaving my Yaris on the new site and riding back to Amadeus.
A short but enjoyable beverage at Yarde.
Swooping down a tree-lined descent I was nearly thrown into the hedge, a pothole three inches deep being the cause of deflated inner tubes.
Another issue was getting the new tubes back in and the outer casing over the top.
I have changed hundred inner tubes but this was proving really difficult. Resulting in a pinch puncture!
Fortunately after a prayer Rupert and his 2CV came to my rescue and drove me and my deflated bike the last 7 miles to Amadeus.
I arrived at the new site at 20:10 and so the rest of the day was a blur of setting up the van showering and preparing a supper of goats cheese, surimi, tomatoes, olives, pear cornishons and a.lovely fresh piece of sourdough bread.
