Phew
A quick blip having arrived home earlier than expected and very happy about it! My daughter & I were at The Grosvenor tonight for a National Theatre Live production of ‘Present Laughter’ by Noel Coward. I booked the tickets a good while ago as Andrew Scott was the lead and I had enjoyed watching him in Ripley. We have both had a busy week and were very tired so it was a bit concerning to find out that the screening was going to be 3 hours long. We were just not enjoying it at all and after and hour and a half decided to cut our losses and leave. The first act finished and we thought there would be an interval but the stage lights went back up and it was about to start again. In desperation we grabbed our coats and made our escape. Apologies to the ladies we had to squeeze past but enough was enough.
