Surfing in the City

This section of river in Munich has an underwater profile which creates excellent standing waves. These attract crowds of surfers keen to demonstrate their skills. This in turn brings crowds of spectators. The best viewpoint for action shots is the roadside bridge but I have used this angle to try to put the scene into context which is very unusual maybe unique.
