View from Victoria Square

I had planned a visit to the Victoria Square shopping centre in Belfast today to explore what photographic opportunities it had to offer.  It was a damp day in Belfast and I had expected more people in the complex.  So I really had to hunt for people shots.

The shopping complex had many shapes and angles to explore so that is what I tried to focus on.  It was difficult to pick out just one shot, which means they were all just pretty average.   But this shot was somewhat different, I focused on the wet glass dome overlooking the Royal Albert Clock, the backdrop was misty and wet and I thought that the diminished skyline did convey a downbeat mood.

Being a wet day provoked the thought that I should embrace what we consider to be poor weather as it often produces something different and unexpected.   Maybe this images falls into that category!
