What a week! Ready for some relaxing

Well, it has been one of those fortnights. I'm used to things being interesting, but this last few weeks have been fun! We have been talking about it for a while, but we decided that this camping season, to make life a little easier, we would have a tow bar fitted.

Finally managed to get it fitted on Monday only for someone to run into it while my OH was stationary and wrote the d*mn thing off! We then have had a fortnight of trying to get it rectified before using it to go camping today. The insurance couldn't get a courtesy car which had 7 seats and a towbar (We'd already hired a trailer) and the repairer needed to check the damage to the car and towbar.

The car was fine, but the tow bar needed to be replaced. After lots of phone calls, we managed to get the repairer to replace the towbar and the bumper yesterday. We didn't have any time to get the camping gear sorted, and we were due to be down at Brean Down camping for the weekend. It's a good 4 hour journey and due to the weather forecast, we took a rain check on camping.

We ended up staying in Swindon and intend to drive down to Brean tomorrow.

We took the sleeping bags and things we needed down to Swindon. Grace was rather happy to find the missing Hello Kitty!!
