The Hebe has flowered

I bought this little shrub two years ago and got Len to plant in a container which stands on the front step. It's been very stress and funny things were happening to the leaves, so I nagged Len again to top up the compost, add some fertiliser and water it well.

It's responded by putting out some lovely purple flowers, for the first time since we've had it. The Royal Horticultural Society informs me that Hebe has now been renamed Veronica. The change will take some time to percolate down to all garden centres.

We went to Coalville for me to visit the dentist. I had expected a teeth clean and was hoping that he would take out a loose tooth on the lower jaw.  Imagine my chagrin when he told me that if he took out that tooth, the one next to it and then the rest would all also become loose and fall out. He told me to make an appointment pdq to see the dental implant surgeon. So that's another few thousand quid gone.
