Swarm setting up home

Arkle and finn walked with company.

Headed to out apiary with finn.

A wee walk and then bees.

A wee bait hive was over crowded so had to take old box away and put bees in a double poly nuc. All done with help of laird.

While getting equipment this swarm took off from a branch, only realised due to noise, and headed to an old hive set up to be a bait hive. In less than 10 minutes they were in the hive.

Tidying up and finn walk before tea and chat with laird and wife.

Home and made up brood frames for hives.

Quiet night watching Scottish u20s rugby on TV.

A late evening walk with boy dogs.
