During the summer months cows, sheep and lambs are on the marsh and its not uncommon for them to be all across the road.  This is what I came across on the way home from grocery shopping in Carlisle this morning.  Luckily there were no Hadrians Wall hikers around.  

Its been a lovely day today with plenty of sunshine and blue sky.  Did lots of gardening, mainly in the shade.  Got stung a few times dealing with stinging nettles.
