New born

I went out and sat by the pond for my morning coffee. It wasn't particularly warm. Something glinted on the iris leaves and it was this newly hatched Emperor dragonfly drying it's wings. I was fascinated by it and must have sat there for about an hour waiting for it to fly off on its new life. I had to pop inside for about 2 minutes and when I returned it had flown off. Drat!
 The car went for its MOT(called NCT here in Ireland) and sadly failed. I dont understand what it is that it has failed on but Mr RR says the part costs 2 euro but needs a mechanic to fit it and that is going to cost 50 euro. Oh well, it could be worse.
