Red and White

Red and white are the Cork county colours, so the place is awash with Cork flags and people buying them to stick on their cars, houses etc at the moment. Cork are in the All Ireland Hurling final against Clare next Sunday for the first time since 2005. It's a fast moving game, one of the fastest team sports in the world, with thirty men (fifteen per team) wielding sticks at high speed in pursuit of a small ball.
