our mystical river journey

Took my daughters on a magical swimming adventure tonight. Along the track, through the woods we walked until we found our place by the river. And in we went. Swimming slowly upstream, at times on our backs looking at the sky through the leaves. Perching for a rest in a small cave as the water dripped down in front of us like a shimmering curtain. Then we turned, relaxed and floated back downstream...perfect.

Home for 10pm, a very late night for Sienna but hopefully full of memories that will inspire many of her dreams ahead.
