WHEEEEEE SUNSHINE

I believe this is a broadleaved willowherb.  To me it looks as if it's raising it's arms due to there being sunshine today!!!!

Not doing very much today except going through the old photos and taking digital photos so I can add them to the computer.  There are quite a few to go through, although it's mostly the ones from 1930s to 1960s that I'm most interested in and I've already done those.

I belong to an on-line group called SheClicks.  It's a site of women photographers.  I interact sometimes with them and do occasionally enter their monthly challenges just to learn really.  The photographers are mainly professionals but some very gifted amateurs and then some like me, who really are just basic amateurs.  I'm now down-crying myself or that, it's just what it is, but I hope to learn from it.  They welcome ALL female photographers with whatever equipment and level you are at, you just need to have an interest in photography. It is world-wide and they have many meet-ups across the world.  This year it is their 6th anniversary and they are actually having a meet-up in Morecambe in early August for 40s revival weekend (thanks to CumbriaLass for the heads up).  I'd be very nervous, not only due to meeting such gifted photographers but also the crowds, but then the meeting starts at 10.00 am and if too much I can always go to Mum's or just come home.  It will largely be down to what the weather is like, too hot or too wet and I won't go but we will see!!!!

I include an extra as it made me chuckle.  On the way down from Beacon Fell on Orton Scar yesterday I noticed a lone cow on the edge of cliff so put the zoom on full (only 300mm) and took a couple of photos.  On editing it this morning if you look at in large, it looks like half a cow - just two legs and half a body LOL!!!!!!  Very clever that she can still get around huh!!!!

Not a lot else to say today, so do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
