What a day if you’re Spanish!

I am not. But a nice afternoon at the cricket (a Birmingham Bears win) with updates from Ken’s phone on Alcaraz’ Wimbledon victory. Then a race back to assess the local bars situation for the big final. The assessment was… rammed! There were England shirt’s everywhere even on my walk into the city this morning. So we settled for D’s projector, felt a little disappointed, then hope, then huge disappointment. Will it ever actually come home?
Well done to Gareth Southgate on a solid Dean Smith like tenure. He took us from a bad place to the height of expectation again and the edge of unbelievable success under a lot of pressure. Now time to find the Unai Emery style successor for the next phase… it IS coming home!!
