Another surprise…

There were lots of butterflies out again this morning. They were very active in the warm sunshine..barely settling long enough to be photographed.


We seem to have been waiting ages for them to appear…and, like buses, they are all coming at once.


I believe that this is a (male) green veined white..but I didn’t get a good enough look at the underside of the wing to see if it had veins!

Alternatively a small white….
